MATCHA at NOON with matcha chestnut daifuku and a tangerine
Daifuku is very soft rice cake stuffed with sweet adzuki bean basicallly, though they have wide variations of the stuffing.
It may contain chestnut, strawberry, walnuts and etc. The sweet adzuki bean could be different kind, for example, matcha adzuki bean,
sweet white beans…
As you can see, this one is matcha flavored soft rice cake stuffed with a chestnut and matcha sweet bean paste. The rice cake is so soft that it streeetches on a bite.
I bought them at Akebono, one of the most popular Japanese traditional-style confectionary store at Ginza.
