MATCHA at NOON with matcha kuro-mame pound cake, maple cookie and Deko-pon Sumo mandarin
This matcha-kuro-mame pound cake was a product of a coffee comopany in Kyoto. They are made with fine Uji, Kyoto matcha and Kuro-mame which means black beans. They are produced in Tanba in Hyogo prefecture next to Kyoto. They are very well known of the high quality of black beans, big and fat.
Maple cookie are imported from Canada, of course.
I just found out Deko-pon mandarin are called Sumo mandarin outside of Japan. How cute. I although have never imagined Sumo wrestler looking at them. Now I do.
