Imo-Yo-Kan sweet potato jelly cake is one of the most popular regional sweets of Kawagoe city, Saitama Japan. Sweet potato is one of the product actively and proudly cultivated there for a long time. No wonder they have good sweets using them.
”Koedo” which means small Edo is how people call the city. The city has grown as food supplier for Tokugawa Edo period and the traditional architecture has been preserved in the old city district. It takes about an hour from downtown Tokyo, so it is very great to have a day trip to there.
